Phoenix lawyer appointed to Federal Judicial Committee

William Maledon, a founder of the Phoenix law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A., and leader of its complex commercial litigation practice, has been appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court to an additional three-year term on the Federal Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure.
The Standing Committee has oversight responsibility for all changes to federal rules relating to civil, criminal, appellate and bankruptcy proceedings as well as federal rules of evidence. The Committee consists of seven federal judges, four practicing attorneys and two law professors appointed by the Chief Justice.
