Osborn Maledon announces two new partners join firm

Two Phoenix attorneys–Meghan Grabel and Elizabeth Chatham–joined the Phoenix law firm, Osborn Maledon, P.A., as partners, effective July 1. Ms. Grabel will establish an energy law and public utility regulation practice to supplement the firm’s existing administrative law group, and Ms. Chatham will establish an immigration practice for the firm, focusing on employment-based immigration issues.

Ms. Grabel began her legal career at Osborn Maledon, leaving to spend nine years with Arizona Public Service Company, where she served as associate general counsel of state and federal regulatory and also as head of APS’s regulatory strategy, revenue requirement, and rate design departments.

Ms. Chatham has been a partner with Davis, Miles, McGuire, Gardner, PLLC, in Tempe, where she developed the firm’s immigration practice. She has worked in immigration law throughout her private practice, which she began in 2005 with a large national firm, after serving as a staff attorney for the Asian Pacific American Legal Center in Los Angeles.

Before beginning their practices, both attorneys had distinguished clerkships–Ms. Grabel as a clerk to U.S. Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit Judge Barry Silverman and also Arizona Supreme Court Justice Andrew Hurwitz, and Ms. Chatham as a research fellow for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
