David Rosenbaum Receives Award of Special Merit from State Bar
David Rosenbaum, a partner in the Phoenix law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A., will receive the 2015 Award of Special Merit from the State Bar of Arizona.
The award, presented by the Board of Governors, recognizes lawyers who have made “significant contributions to the furtherance of public understanding of the legal system, the administration of justice and confidence in the legal profession.”
Rosenbaum, an attorney who has been named to every major national lawyer recognition list, focuses on complex commercial litigation, representing a variety of public and private companies. He was named Best Lawyer’s Phoenix “Lawyer of the Year” in 2014 for securities litigation and in 2011 for bet-the-company litigation.
Rosenbaum recently chaired the Arizona Supreme Court’s task force creating Arizona’s new business court and now co-chairs the Supreme Court’s Task Force on the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. He is a past president of the Federal Bar Association’s Phoenix chapter and served as a lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference.
Before joining Osborn Maledon in 1984, he clerked for a U.S. District Court judge in the District of Delaware.
